1. The SWM Service has now been managed by Waste Management Companies under The Suthra Punjab Program lunched by GO Pb in December 2024
2. Service & Asset Management Agreement (SAAMA) has been signed between MCs and the relevant waste management company i.e. FWMC in Chiniot 3. Waste collection, transportation and developing/maintaining waste disposal sites has been outsourced through the waste management companies 4.M/S Munawar & Sons (Pvt. Ltd.), contractor has been selected for MC Chiniot through bidding process managed by FWMC. 5. The selected contractors are collecting waste from door to door (where possible), temporarily store and transporting it using appropriate plant equipment and developing waste dumping site 6. Citizens complaints related with SWM are being handled by the Contractors through Suthra Punjab App/ Complaint Management System (CMS) developed by PITB and implemented by LG&CDD
